uddeIM and Bold Tags in Title

uddeIM and Bold Tags in Title was created by langsky
I searched the forum, but could not find a solution to this.

I have uddeIM version 2.5/beta installed on a Joomla 1.5.23 site. In the message inbox and when a message is open I get the following bold tags for the title. Is this what I should be seeing, or is something causing the bold tags to show rather than the text to be bold font?

Thank you for the quick response. So as of 11.2.3 uddeIM shows BBcode in messages. There is not a way to turn that off, correct? It is not a big deal, I can live with it either way.
