Mailbox Crashing My Site

i'm running Joomla 1.7.3 and uddeIM 2.5. After i made the 1.7.3 upgrade the mailbox made my site unusable, all that would show was an error message. i had to disable all the UddeIM stuff to get the site back. i installed the latest version of UddeIM 2.5 j1.6 English only. That was fine. Then when i tried to reinstall the mailbox (so my users could get to their mail) the site went stupid again.

What version of the mailbox should i use so that my site will continue to run once it is installed?

i just reinstalled UddeIM mailbox j1.6. Here's the error as soon as i assign it a position:

What am i doing wrong? How do i fix it? It worked perfectly before the move to 2.5 and j1.7.

Are you sure that you have installed uddeIM 2.5 (not 2.4)?

"/home/gotrus1/public_html/components/com_uddeim/uddeimlib17.php" is a file that is installed with uddeIM 2.5 and without that file uddeIM 2.5 will not work and of course when the component is not installed none if the modules will work, too.

In the component manager it said 2.5. But oddly, after i configured it, it disappeared from the components menu. :S

When i tried to uninstall it i got this:

Will it work to delete the folder contain the component?

Either you have not installed uddeIM 2.4 or you have not installed uddeIM 2.5 at all. From the last error message I would guess you have not installed the component at all.

i installed:

com_uddeim_j16_english_only

Which should i use instead?

It is correct but I am pretty sure that you have not installed uddeIM component at all because neither uddeimlib17.php nor the XML files have been found. Check the folders on your server if the files are there.
