Sending a welcome message to all new users was created by tsnilsen

I would like to send a welcome message in uddeIM to all new users.

Is it possible to define that new users are created with a welcome message in their inbox?

I am currently working on such a plugin - see my blog on this site. Second priority at the moment - after the RC2 gallery plugin and module.
