uddeIM installation issues. (2.5 BETA)

I am running J1.7. I have downloaded the 2.5 BETA. When I install, I don't get any errors (that I can remember).

Everything looks to be installed, however, I am unable to install the cb_plugs - I get the error, JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

I try and include the PMs in my login box, and it says "1 new private message", however when I click on the link, I get the following:

SQL errorDB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column 'remindersent' in 'field list' SQL=UPDATE reo3x_uddeim_emn SET remindersent=1315024092 WHERE userid=42
SQL =
UPDATE #__uddeim_emn SET remindersent=1315024092 WHERE userid=42

I've also created a menu link (following PDF FAQ file, and even the link I created causes the same error.

This was not an upgrade. It was a fresh 1.7 install, and this is one of the first few things I've added to it.

Any ideas?
