Unable to open Inbox

I am unable to open my inbox. It currently shows as having 4 opened files in the inblx but when I try to open it I am unable to access the inbox. I can get into all other boxes in my account, just not the inbox.
I have run maintenance and nothing is obviously wrong. Am I able to delete the contents of the inbox for this client? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have uddeIM 2.4 installed.

Please switch off SEF. Does it work? How does the link look like when you try to access a message?

How do you know that you have four messages in the inbox? Are these messages listed in the inbox? If another component tells you this value it might be wrong. If it is mod_uddeim you might have not updated the database as described in the README.

Turning SEF on or off does not effect uddeIM operation at all.

I am able to go to Inbox for other users without a problem. My Inbox seems to be the only problem. I can go directly to other boxes (eg. compose) and move around freely until I try to go into Inbox where it takes forever to go into.

I eventually got into the Inbox and was able to move 4 large messages to Deleted but access to the Inbox is still almost impossible as the wait time is excessive.

I upgraded from 2.3 to 2.4 and if I recall correctly there were no database alterations in this upgrade. When I do a database check in maintenance it tells me all is OK.

You are right there is no database necessary from 2.3 to 2.4.

I am sorry, but your problem is not uddeIM related. In another thread it was the browser cache, I also got a feedback that Joomla's cache sometimes makes troubles.

Please check the links to the inbox or outbox with SEF turned on/off. The link to the frontpage does not help at all.

I have repeatedly cleared the browser cache and have the Joomla and Apache caches turned off. Below is part of the Apache error log from this morning that may give a further clue. I uninstalled and reinstalled uddeIM this morning to no avail. The only part of uddeIM that is playing up is when going into the INBOX.

The problems started after I installed Kunena forums and uddeIM was used as the private messaging system for Joomla and Kunena. I then uninstalled Kunena and I think that this is where the problems started.
