Module Installer?

Today I installed uddeIM. The component, com_uddeIM, installed flawlessly. The next item to install, mod_uddeIM, not so flawlessly.

The FAQ for uddeIM reads, in part:

Install this module with the module installer.

I searched for a 'module installer,' by that name, and found nothing. Not even on this forum. At last, I uploaded & installed the zip file for the module with the same Upload File & Install facility that I used to install the component. The Extension Manager even returned an "Install Component Success" message.

However, I cannot find the module. It is not contained in the Module Manager's New Module list. There is not a preloaded copy of it in the Module Manager. I see nothing in the uddeIM Administration area that addresses either a 'module installer' or the missing module. Until resolving this little problem, I will wait with the installation of any other elements of uddeIM, just to be on the safe side.

I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

I just need to know what is meant by "module installer."

In Joomla 1.0 there were separate installer for components, modules and plugins. In Joomla 1.5+ these installers were replaced by the extension installer.
