Block user groups for registered users not working

Hi there,

I am using uddeim 2.3rc on a Joomla 1.15.22 plattform together with CB 1.3.1.
In the configuration menue of uddeim I have defined, that registered users can not send messages to the groups "Registered" and "Author", however, this function seems not to work.

When I login to my site as a registered user, I can send a messages to all other users, if I only know their username.

Is this a bug or how can I avoid this to be possible.
I want to setup my site so that only users with status "Author" or higher can send messages to other "Authors" or "Registered Users". Registered shall only be allowed to write to Admins.

Any idea, how to solve this issue would be most appreciated.

Please use the latest version before posting bug reports.

I fixed a bug in 2.3 so it might be already fixed.

I have tested the feature and it works fine.

I have created a user u1 (regged user) and e1 (editor) and blocked access from regged users to editors and uddeIM shows the message "You are not allowed sending to this group." when I am logged in as u1 and send a message to e1.

I have already installed the latest 2.3 now. Also I have tested the blocking function and its working perfectly now.

Just to understand, from 2.3rc to 2.3 are their any changes to the modules and plugins, which need to be updated?

Not for Joomla 1.5. When you are using 1.6 you should update the modules and plugins.
