Problems with deletion of messages

Hello,

I have set that items in my trash are deleted after 24 hours, the problem is that some items have been there for 3 days??

Another issue is the the outbox contains an item from the 2nd June which has not been deleted, how can that be removed?

I think i have found out the answer.

I have chaned the invoke delete option to 'by any user' and that seems to have worked.

Although im not sure why as i have been working on the site as admin for the last few days and the messages remained. strange
