Let people email everyone on connections tab?

Is there a way of using uddeIM to let users email everyone on their connections tab?

Some of my site members are authors of public domain chess engines. There are some 300 or 400 engines in the world for Windows right now. Community Builder lets users "sign up" with various chess engine authors. The only thing better would be if the authors could use uddeIM to email their users about updates from within the site.

Can it be done?

This is not an uddeIM feature (neither sending emails nor CB connections).
