Uddeim link just redirects to homepage

Hi all, I have noticed that my uddeim redirects to the homepage after installing acesef v1.5 however according to the developer it works fine for him, (even when i said I disabled acesef and uddeim link worked again!) so I'm not getting any support on that side, can anyone suggest how I can get uddeim working again (version 2.0).

1. Check the Itemid used in link to uddeIM component.
2. There are several entries in the FAQ according SEF. Maybe one of these help.

I have no duplicate urls in acesef (I have set it that way) and my link to uddeim is defualt index.php?option=com_uddeim :ohmy:

Without any Itemid in the URL?

yep just like that as thats whats created when creating an uddeim link in a menu. However, its very stange, if I right click on the link, and "copy shortcut" then the url pasted is my home page?!
Should there be an item id? Its the same link I was using with acesef v1.3 but its playing up with the new one...

I got it sorted now, thansk for the item id hint, I looked it up in acesef and then applied that url to the hyperlink, and it works again :lol: Stange how I didnt need to do any of this with the older version though, thanks for your help



... And also, rather than starting a new post, could you advise me how I can implement/and replace some more smilies in uddeim? I'd like to replace some as the heart emotionfor example doesn't really suite my site, so I'd rather have a different one instead, but how and where can I get the smiles used in this forum for example?
