No .png files as emoticons?

Hi

But it didn't take my emoticons that are png-files.
What do I have to do so that they will be shown?


My second question is: Is there any way to replace the other emoticons with my own ones? Because they will have other filenames and shortcuts, so I cannot just replace the images.

uddeIM does only look for GIF files, so you have to convert your PNG files into GIF files first (you can also donwload some nice ones here www.en.kolobok.us/content_plugins/gallery/gallery.php ).

When you want to replace the standard smileys you have to ensure that your smileys use the same file names, so you have to rename them.

I changed the file type and now they are all visible.

But the problem with the other emoticons is that these are totally different ones and it wouldn't make sense to name them after the ones that are already there.
For example, I have some fonts as images and I want them to be in the main emoticon bar.
And I think I'll also have to edit the amount of emoticons that are shown there because the fonts are a bit too long.

Which file(s) do I have to edit for this?
