uddeIM from local to remote [SOLVED]

I've installed uddeIM 2.0 on my linux-pc with joomla 1.5.15 and everything works very well.

When I upload the site on a remote server uddeIM stops working: only a blank page is displayed (also in backend when I click on uddeIM component).

I've followed all the instructions in the FAQ but nothing doing.

The only way to run the component is re-install it directly on the remote server... after that it works again.

What I have to do to avoid the re-installing?

Its not a uddeIM problem. You have to ensure that the transfered system is correctly configured, e.g. on the server Joomla will see different absolute paths and also the domain is different. Check the Joomla configuration file using a text editor if all paths are correct.

Others components installed in Joomla works perfectly... only uddeIM doesn't work.

I've checked the configuration.php file and it seems to be ok: the live_site variable is ok, all database settings are ok and tmp and log full paths are configured.

In "Joomla Info" tmp, log and cache (both general and admin) directories are writable.

All directories and files are 755 and 644... also owner an group are properly setted.

I can't understand why it doesn't work...

When a blank page in backend is displayed than there is an issue with your Joomla setup. I am sorry but there is definitely no problem with uddeIM.

You have moved the local installation to a live server, so there might be Joomla settings that have not be adapted correctly (as a result you see a blank page). Maybe there are also some wrong settings in your database.

You have confirmed that uddeIM is running fine when you install it on your live system, only when you move files directly from the local to the live systems you have problems, so is _not_ a problem with the component.

Problem Solved: transfer mode to the server must be set to BINARY instead of ASCII.
