First of all - great component - exactly what I needed! Keep up the good work!

Now straight to the point:

1.
While setting menu item, there is a internal link "uddeim", which takes you to your inbox. For public users this points to compose page. I would like to set the default recipient for public users. Maybe by adding a user id parameter for uddeim menu item?

I tried to achieve this by setting external link menu:

index.php?option=com_uddeim&task=new&recip=666

But external links end up being unassigned to any menu, which messes up navigating experience.

2.
Is it possible to put a new option "e-mail address required" (yes/no) in "public" config tab?

1. Have you tried to add the correct Itemid to the external link? I have not tried that before but maybe it works. Please note that the public front end is not a contact formular for a single person.

2. Could you post that on the tracker on Joomlacode please?

Thx for reply

1. My item id is correct (I used fake id here), and it works. Point is, when public user uses this menu I want them to have the form with default recipient already put in (eg Administrator), and everything else has to remain the same (correct submenu and breacrumbs, inbox for registered users). Maybe an additional option for "public" tab? like "choose default recipient" (userlist)

Btw it is not required to enter an email address in the public front end, so this option might be redundant.

Which point did you address?

If 1.
I want to make messaging on my site as easy as possible. You click link, you enter you e-mail address and message, you click "send". That's all. No need to look for correct recipient.

If 2.
I want sender's e-mail address to be required :)
