uddeim in backend was created by donatello
Hi,

is it possible to use uddeim module ine backend?
i'd like admin users to send messages to frontend users and get replies.

Many thanks for your answers.

No, that is not possible since it does not make any sense at all.

Why adding the same forms in the backend when admins can also use the frontend for that purpose?

true, there are many things a joomla admin can do from the front end.

Still, joomla administrators often use admin access (more often than front end) when they want to manage their website. would be nice if they could just contact a user from the backend.

If i follow what u say, users would have to connect to backend in order to manage the website, and create an additional frontend connexion if they want to contact some user...not very productive or user friendly.

I can understand why uddeim doesn't do it, but according to your explanation, i'm not sure that it doesn't make sense...

Do you think uddeim component would be hard to adapt for admin(backend) use?

It is not possible without major modifications because of design. I am sorry.
