Stephan,

Is it possible to send a system message without sending E-mail notifications?

I do have Email Notification and Forgetmenot e-mail enabled so users do get notifications when someone sends them a pm.

The problem is that I have 3400 users and my hosting service only allows 200 emails per hour. So I would bust that limit if I send a System Message.

I searched the forum and can not find any information on this.

No, I am sorry. That is not possible. You can open a feature request on that tracker for it.

Just received a message from Slabbi that this feature will be available in Version 2.2. You will be able to turn off Email Notification for System Messages.
