inbox link with messages count

Hello;
i use uddeim 1.8 with CB. Is there a way to show the count of new messages on inbox in the menu item text? like "Inbox (3)"

there is a function called "uddeIMgetInboxCount" in "components/com_uddeim/includes.db.php" file that returns the number of items in user inbox.
Is there an easy way to give a link to inbox without dealing with php?

You have to deal with PHP if you want to have this feature.

I recommend to open a feature request on the tracker.

This is the uddeIM support forum. I do not use other PM systems.

The uddeIM module shows message counters for inbox, outbox, trashcan and archive if you really need them.
