You must be using an old CB Connect version.

There have been many changes made to the facebook api - you would need to install the latest CB Connect version that is available to professional members.

Please see this:

We run on CB 2.0.8. I installed CB Connect7.01 today.

This build gets stuck at this URL:http://cutmyco2.org/CutTest/index.php/cb-profile/pluginclass?plugin=cbconnect&provider=facebook&return=Some cryptic token]==

and just sits there.

I had tried CB Connect 6.0.5 earlier, which had the same issue as 6.0.4.

Please read the below announcement topic carefully. You have to meet those requirements or it will not work. Ensure debug mode and maximum error reporting are enabled in Joomla global configuration during your tests to expose any errors.
