Group Rights was created by adhillon
Our business model offers the option to create a Community (user group).
A user creates a community and invites other users to join the community. Currently, a new member can also create/manage Events and Invites - which we don't want.
How can we control access of community (group) members?
Please note that the group members are not supposed to be Connections. A connection is established independently of group membership.

Replied by krileon on topic Group Rights
Disabled group features can still be utilized by group owners, administrators, and moderators. So if you set the Events within a group your own to Disabled then you can still create events, but nobody else can. That's the only way to really restrict access. Group features aren't meant to be ACL controlled as they're group access controlled. A future release will have a permissions setting per group instead of a simple yes/no toggle that'll more specifically let you specify what group member type can do what, but for now that yes/no toggle is all that's available.
