So the issue remains resolved now? Very strange. It does sound like a caching issue of some kind, but without page cache I'm not sure what caching would do that. Was anything change in the groups that they were supposed to be seeing or in the last group they were seeing? Was this group join or group create activity or activity of one of the groups integrations (e.g. group event).
