Thank you for the great extension for Joomla.
I need all users who are logged in to a public group to receive an email notification about every activity in this group. At the same time, it should be possible to unsubscribe from such email notifications, just like in a newsletter.

Is this possible?

Group notifications are built into GJ. After joining a group from the groups menu click the Notifications menu option. From there you can subscribe to various group notifications. Within CB GroupJive > Configuration > Parameters > Notifications set "Notify By" to "Email" for those notifications to send an email.
