Stripe showing free trial despite no free trial available for the plan

12 hours 18 minutes ago #340143 by wintercorn
User has a standard recurring sub for £40/yr. It's set up in CB as a normal plan with no free trail but their Stripe profile states that it is.

Any idea why?

Other random checked users don't show this.

Thanks

Is the user upgrading from one plan to another? If so that might be the prorating.

Yes this user upgraded. Why does it say free trial though?

That's just what Stripe outputs for free periods. The prorated amount results in free time and the only way to add that free time to Stripe is as you see.
