Trying to view List Management displays Unknown column 'a.id' in 'WHERE'. I was creating a new list with Advanced Sorting. My SQL was not formatted correctly and I got a standard error on the front end to correct it. When I went back to the backend and clicked on List Management it only displayed Unknown column 'a.id' in 'WHERE'. I deleted the new list from the phpAdmin, but that did not solve the issue. I tried removing all lists from that table in phpAdmin, that didn't work either. I imported all of my lists back into the table, with the exception of the one I was creating when this started.

All enabled lists display fine on the frontend, only access to the List Management on the backend triggers the message. Any suggestions on how to fix this without reverting to a backup from earlier in the day?

Might be a bad list management filter. Log out of backend to clear filter cache then log back in and see if the error persists.

I tried that with no luck. I ended up restoring the database from a backup and that fixed the issue. Wish I had the time to troubleshoot it more and find the issue, but I had users waiting. If it helps at all to know, just restoring the comprofiler list table did not work, it only worked with a full site restore.

Strange, not sure what could've possibly caused that. Advanced sorting simply adds to the WHERE statement of a userlist on frontend. It doesn't apply anywhere else. It certainly has no impact on backend. That would almost guaranteed be an issue with a userlist search filter. Do you recall using the Search Tools at all in List Management?

All of my lists would have had search tools applied, yes, So it may have had something to do with that. However, I would think an issue with the search tools preventing the backend from loading would have affected the loading on the front-end list display, too. Sorry I cant give any other info at this point, but at least it's working smoothly.
