I noticed the five Auto options when integrating GroupJive in CB Subscriptions.
Can this feature be used to automatically create a Group for the user?
If this works it will be the perfect solution we are looking for, and will keep things simple.
The CBSubs GroupJive integration can be used to join groups, create groups (with the subscriber as the owner), or create categories. It's also possible to do this with CB Auto Actions for more advanced usages.

Correct, it will attempt to load the group by the group name first before attempting to create it. So the group names should ideally be unique per subscriber, which can be done using substitutions.

Within CB GroupJive > Parameters > Groups > General set "Create Access" to "Disabled".
