Media uploads in groups just for the owner

Hi, isn't it possible to deacivate the permissions to upload media files in groups, except for the owner of the group? I searched and just found the option to disable it comletely or to allow it, restriced by the option to allow it for special usergroups.

For the CB Gallery integration? No not at this time. For the Photos, Files, etc.. tabs yes that's possible by editing the group and disabling that feature. Disabling it will still allow the group owner to utilize it. Also if you need a group without user management you can use the Page group type.

Hi Kyle, thanks. For now, that's what I'll do... But it would be great to have the option to restrict the access to upload media files to the owner only.

The background is that this page will also contain groups of manufacturers or retailer associations. And only the group owners should be able to upload media files to their group E.g. manufacturers have different conditions for different retailers. Another example: groups for retailer associations should only have access by their members. But members should not have the possibility to add content. And a very nice feature of the CB-Gallery is that you can restrict access to individual users or connection types.

I would suggest just making those Pages and not having member management for them as that that point being a member of the group doesn't really let them do anything in the group.
