My client is still complaining that from her Apple devices, with Safari or Chrome, she gets randomly logged out in the middle of using our site.

She swears she has clicked "Remember Me" on login, but even if she hasn't, your KeepAlive should keep her connected.

But I (almost) never get logged out, on either desktop PC or Android smartphone, Firefox or Chrome, so makes it difficult to debug. I have examined what session cookies are getting set, and seems to randomly not work for her, like iOS support is intermittent.

Just wondering if you've heard about this problem before, and have any suggestions.

( Still using Joomla3; did any of this change in J4 or J5? )

CB doesn't manage login sessions. That's entirely on Joomla. As for J4/J5 the keepalive script and behavior was significantly improved. Also ensure within configuration.php live_site is set to '' (empty string) as your client maybe changing domains without realizing it (accessing the site with www then without www is a domain change).
