JCE should normally be working fine in CB. Will retest to see why it's not initializing, but we're calling normal Joomla editor rendering API in this regard so if it's not following Joomla 5 API best practices then there won't be anything I can do about it. As for Kunena I wouldn't know as we're not the developers of Kunena.
