Strange behaviour url in activity stream

When typing a text in activity and then pasting an url, it looks like this (example from demo forum):
 
I remember that in older plugin version there was a separate field to insert url. Can't find it in the latest version.

Looks like a bug. Seams to happen when you add a linbreak then paste a URL into that linebreak. As for the URL inserting fields are gone now as this is entirely automated just by adding the valid URL to the post. Have added a bug ticket to fix. Thank you for letting us know!

Phew, that was a bit of a tricky one. Working with contenteditable API is a bit of a nightmare, but this is now fixed in latest CB Activity build release. I've significantly improved the reliability of the copy-paste behavior for text, links, mentions, and hashtags. Please update and let me know if you're still having issues.
