We don't have external storage support for media at this time. We'll be implementing external storage capabilities with CB 3.x once we've the newer API layers in place. This will probably require you to setup AWS-SDK yourself with CB being able to simply utilize it.
CDN's for JS/CSS are possible for CBs Bootstrap, Fontawesome, and jQuery though if needed since you can turn those off within CB > Configuration > Integrations and handle the loading yourself.
