Activity Stream limit to Groups was created by AlanJones
Could you help me to create an activity stream that only shows activity from GJ groups the viewer belongs to or is following.

Only way to do that is to use a optional stream filter. Under the Filters tab of a stream create the following.

Filter: Joined Groups
Assets: groupjive.joined

The following are all supported.

groupjive.my
groupjive.joined
groupjive.owned

There's no way to do this from the default filter at this time. Will review trying to add support for this in the default filter.

Ok, this will be available in next build release which will be out either end of day today or tomorrow. The below have all been implemented and tested for both default filter and stream filters.

groupjive.my
groupjive.joined
groupjive.owned

my = joined or owned
joined = joined, but do not own
owned = explicitly own

To limit the activity only to group activity you'd used the below.

groupjive.myonly
groupjive.joinedonly
groupjive.ownedonly

Again, this isn't available yet, but will be with next release.

The above is now available in latest CB Activity build release. I've also added hints at the bottom of the Filters tab for these new filters. It explains what asset to use and what each does.
