I'm doing something stupid... I can't see the gallery upload icon when making a new activity post.
All the Activity setting are set to allow gallery uploads in activity.
Any ideas?

It depends on the profile gallery. Specifically the Gallery tab. Is the profile gallery accessible? The tab should be published and at least accessible to the user making the post.
