Icons Not Showing Up On Community Builder

I recently opened a ticket with Joomshaper regarding their current Helix Ultimate template.

I reported that some CB Activity icons were NOT appearing when using Helix but DID appear when using Cassiopeia.

In their response they seem to indicate it is related to CB; however, I doubt that is the case:

   - Support Response: "It is coming from the profiler component."

They suggested adding the following CSS code to correct the issue:

May I confirm whether this is a template or a CB issue?

Your template is probably overriding our font-family for fontawesome. We use fontawesome v4 still. So anything forcing a deep override of the font-family for the .fa class is going to break our fontawesome. We already scope our fontawesome to cb_template class.

If you need to add custom CSS fixes for your specific template use CBs built in CSS override functionality below. We are not going to add workaround for 3rd party template conflicts, sorry.

We'll be getting rid of font based icons entirely sometime in CB 3.x development (CB 3.x will be a gradual roll out as we shift CB 2.x into it) as we'll move to just using inline SVG icons.
