Are you able to replicated this and provide login credentials with a test user with this issue so I can take a look? I can't see any reason in the code for it to be doing this outside of those parameters unless it's a mis-cache caused by caching on your server (e.g. cloudflare mis-cache). I've not been able to replicate this issue locally in my tests thus far so I'm not sure what else to suggest.

Have reviewed your install. It's because you turned off all media types globally. So the gallery technically has no media support. Only album support. Specifically you set the following.
CB Gallery > Parameters > Photos
Photos: Disable
CB Gallery > Parameters > Videos
Videos: Disable
CB Gallery > Parameters > Files
Files: Disable
CB Gallery > Parameters > Music
Music: Disable
I've set these all back to Enable and confirmed your gallery works fine now.
