Hello, I've just noticed that our CB registration form has dropdown display issues when used on iPad (both in Chrome and Safari).
The dropdown list is too narrow, so that it doesn't allow users to properly read the selections, which is a problem with our data. See attachment, field "FAWCO Club Name", or visit the live site at
www.fawco.org/registration
and select "My club is affiliated with FAWCO" under "Your club membership status".
A bit of Googling tells me that this may be a limitation of the iPad infrastructure -- but I assume I can't be the first person to have this issue. Is there a supported workaround? I can't seem to control this with CSS, and it renders the dropdown unusable.
It's a standard plain old multi-select. It doesn't have a popup. Your devices browser is adding that or it's possible your Joomla template is. Try switching to default Joomla template and see if issue persists. If there's a way to specifically style that you'll need to do that yourself using CSS Overrides shown below.
Only solution I can think of that CB could provide is maybe switching it to a Tags fieldtype, which completely overrides the standard HTML select element with a custom one.
