A bit of a weird question... is there a way to ensure that CB conversations are secure from any browser indexing or tracking.
Obviously it's all behind secure login, but I wonder how much Google tracks through Chrome, and Apple through Safari.
For a community that wants to be as off-the-grid as possible. Are there browsers they should avoid?
If you question is about: Can Google see the contents of my private messages via Chrome? Then the answer is no.
Google can't index what it can't access. As for tracking don't load any tracking JS files on the site. Regarding browsers to an extent yes they all track, but they don't have access to the page content so much as they are seeing what domains you frequent. There isn't really any reason to avoid using Chrome in this regard unless for whatever reason you don't want Google to know you went to XYZ domain. FireFox has better privacy policies though. There's other browsers that are forks of Chrome that remove all the tracking as well.
