Hi,

I need to automatically add an incremental membership number to the useraccounts. Any ideas how to do that?

Is [user_id] not sufficient for this? It's their account id and is already auto incrementing.

Hi Krileon,

Normally it would, but there are already membership numbers that are not equal to the ID.

CB Auto Actions is probably your only solution in that case. You probably don't want membership numbers reused so you're going to have to keep track of the last membership id at the very least. Usually that's done using a custom database table. Then you'd be able to use a Query action to set their membership id to that last membership id + 1. Is there a reason you're using a membership id separate from user_id?

Hi Krileon,

That's a great idea. I will do that.
The existing id's are separate from the membership numbers.

When I change the ID to the membership number or vice versa, I lose the connection with RS Events etc.
