[SOLVED] Call to a member function getWebAssetManager() on null was created by fede312
I'm getting the following error on Joomla 4 when I go to Components --> Community Builder --> User Management

Call to a member function getWebAssetManager() on null


It happens when I upgrade from J3 to J4. But it also occurs over a brand new installation of CB over a fresh J4 instance.

Any ideas on what can be causing this issue?

That should be impossible. That's core Joomla API for managing web assets (css/js). I think something went wrong with your migration. Delete the following file and refresh.

/administrator/cache/autoload_psr4.php

That'll rebuild Joomla's autoloader. If issue persists try doing a manual file upgrade using the upgrade packages found on the below page.

Thank you for your answer! In this case that wasn't the problem. It was a plugin incompatibility. An extension called 'Login as User.' When I unchecked the plugin System - Login as User the problem went away.
