Once CB AntiSpam is installed edit it within CB > Plugin Management then under Parameters > Menu you can enable block/whitelist menu options that are available when viewing their profile as a moderator. There are also block and whitelist tabs available in CB > Tab Management that you can also use to manage blocks/whitelists for that user.

For the life of me, I can't get the Blocks tab to show up on a profile page. I have it Published and set up the same as other tabs that show.
The Blocks tab also doesn't show up on the list of tabs available to place a field in it - I tried to move the Captcha field into the Blocks tab, but again, the Blocks tab is not listed in the Tabs dropdown when editing a field.

You need moderator permissions. Ensure the user you're logged in with has moderator permissions. You can't block a moderator either so it won't be present if you're viewing a moderators profile. Moderator permissions are based off the moderator view access level in CB > Configuration > Moderation. It should be defaulted to Special which includes Supers Users, Administrators, and Moderators usergroups. If it's set to something like Public or Registered you should change it immediately.

CB AntiSpam also needs to be published and public in CB > Plugin Management. It should be public by default, but newly installed plugins will be unpublished by default.

Thanks -
I had to watch the video on setting up a Moderator and Access levels before I could get it all to work.
www.joomlapolis.com/documentation/279-community-builder/tutorials/18623-configuring-moderators-and-permissions-video .

One last question - is it possible for other usergroups to make edits to profiles without being Moderators?
I want some of my users (editors) to be able to edit other account's profile info, but allow Moderators to block the users (editors) if necessary.
I have the CB Core Fields Ajax's Access set for fields to allow Registered to make the edits, but unless they are included in the Moderator Group - they can't seem to edit.
I have the Registered Users Permissions set to allow to make Edits.

Thanks again for all your help.

No, they need moderator permissions to edit other users.

I needed to be able to ban a moderator, so I created a form that edits the comprofiler and users tables to both ban and block the user.
But, if the user is logged in, they can still continue to use the site and view profiles.

I noticed that my form blocking the user changes the Enabled box in CB backend to show No in that user's account.
But the user can still access profiles if they are currently logged in - even if I open and save the user account in the backend of CB.

But if, while still in the opened user's account, I click Enabled to Yes  then click Save, then click Enabled to No and save it again; the user, when trying to view a profile, gets the message:
Please log in or sign up to view or modify your profile.

What is triggered in the CB backend when clicking No on Enabled that shuts down the user and shows the message, even if they are already online - and is there a way to mimic that? I looked at every table I could think of to see if there was another entry change, but didn't see anything but the blocked field in the users table.

Thanks for your help.
