Hello Kyle,
OK updated CB to the latest build. Registred a new user and the error "Call to undefined method Joomla\Database\Mysqli\MysqliDriver::stderr() " is now gone.
As for the issue that the user is not registered to a group and not receiving an email to notify them, is my fault. I have unpublished the Contact info tab that contains the Group field. :woohoo:
I do not know what happened there.
I do receive an email but it does not seem to use the CB Registration welcome email. But I will play around with that.
I also have a new error: "Column 'authProvider' cannot be null".
I have tried the two settings on the Control Panel / Configuration:
1. Same as CMS "allow Registration" which is switched off in Joomla. The admin registers the user after a selection process. So no self-registration from the front end.
An email is received with the username and password which is a huge long one. When the user tries to log in they get "Incorrect username or password. Please try again." I then requested the username via forgot login. The correct username is received. I then request the password. A different password is sent, which is much shorter. This password works with the username and then requests a new password.
No welcome email from Auto Welcome or the registration tab is received.
2. I tried the Yes, independent of CMS "allow registration" which is not what I want since I figure this is to allow registration from the front end.
Same Joomla account information is sent. Nothing from the Pending email and nothing from the Welcome email. Also nothing from Auto welcome. The Password issue is the same as in number 1 above when the user wants to log in.
I have to start my user on the system to upload all their information since they have already paid, but now I am a bit stuck on the testing of the emails to invite the users to upload their information.
Thank you for your help.
