[SOLVED] CB Admin Module

CB Admin Module was created by derekkoopowitz
I changed the display mode of the admin module to "Table Menu" and now my backend is unusable... how do I change it back to "Drop Down Menu"?

You didn't change the modules position so it's still rendering in the header. There isn't room for it there and Joomla has no overflow handling for the header.

Press F12 to open your browsers developer tools, right click and select element on the table, then remove it from the DOM. That'll render the underneath HTML fine again.

Will review blocking rendering of table output when in that position.

Hi Kyle,

I'm not quite sure exactly what you mean with this... I've hit F12, right clicked on the screen where the table is and clicked "inspect" and then I'm not sure where I need to "remove it from the DOM" means?

Edit: I managed to figure out that I needed to delete the table from each screen that I had to go to (3 of them) and then I was finally able to see the screen in editing the module. Changed it back to "drop down" and everything is back to normal... phew!!

Thanks for the help on this!!!

We're working on a fix for this for a future release as well so it can't happen again. We'll be making it so only dropdown menu can output to the menu backend module position. The fix should be in the latest build released today.
