Comment function in the activity section ? was created by Karlosgermany
I have no idea why, but suddenly only the Super User can comment on a post in the Activity section. Where can I set that any registered user can comment on a post again?

Commenting on profile activity by default is limited to users you are connected to (CB Moderators are exempt from this). If you don't want that behavior you can turn it off within CB Activity > Activity > Comments > Create by setting "Create Connected Access" to "Disable".

Solved it, cause was in fact the enabled connections. Without an existing connection a comment to a post is not possible.

I was able to solve this only by disabling the "connections" function.

Whether this can be done in another way is beyond my knowledge, for me the "comment" function is more important than the "connections" function.

Thanks for the hint!

You don't need to disable connections. Just disable comment connections check as instructed above. Be sure to also check the Activity tab in CB > Tab Management encase you're overriding the global there.
