Hi!
I am using the field "params" for the privacy consent during registration. But after each CB update it is set to "Show on Registration" = "no". I have been seeing this now for quite a while. I always have to enable it for the registration manually after each update.

Sounds like a bug. Does it do this even with build releases? Have added a bug ticket to see if there's anything in the installer code doing that.

Hi!
I saw this for the last couple of updates incl. the latest 2.6. But not sure when it started.

Hi!

Update: I also have a clean Joomla test installation with only CB installed. I noticed the following behavior on this test site AND my normal installation:

1. Field params, Registration = no: Tools->Check Community Builder Database shows no errors
2. Set Fied params to Registration = yes: Tools->Check Community Builder Database shows the following error:

Core CB database structure differences:
Table #__comprofiler_fields Rows fieldid = 52 : Field registration = 1 instead of 0

3. Fix DB -> Field params is again set to Registration = no

The field originally had no use for registration display and most of the parameters it outputs have no use for registration display. So the tool check is designed with that still into consideration. Have added a note on the bug ticket to look into fixing that as well.

Thanks. I just have a requirement to have the (Joomla) privacy consent already in the registration. Otherwise I would not have the need to use it there either.
