I keep getting this emails from PayPal saying "Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

The link is below, and when I click it shows up as invalid in the browser.

How can I fix that?

Thanks,

PayPal Standard, Advanced, or Pro? We've 3 PayPal gateways please be sure to be specific. IPN URLs can't be accessed directly as they process POST data so navigating to the URL will error as expected.

I know I must have some wrong setup, or maybe PayPal changed something. I did that setup a long time ago, I think it is the standard, because in the gateway type it just say standard.

Thanks,

Do you have any IPNs logged within CBSubs > Notifications? If so are they showing as failed? If they are check within CBSubs > History Log to see what the error is that they're failing with. My guess is it's probably a validation issue and suggest checking to be sure you've set the following all correctly.

PayPal Business (email or secure merchant ID): Suggest Merchant ID here otherwise use the email address marked as PRIMARY in your PayPal account

PayPal Main receiver account (email) (if Business is different from your main account): This should be the email address marked as PRIMARY in your PayPal account

Your PayPal Identity Token: Ensure you copied this from your PayPal account completely as sometimes double-clicking the input to select its value at PayPal only selects up to a hard break like a dash or underscore.

The PayPal API credentials are optional, but I recommend also setting them.

Thank you for the info!
I did the setup again, added the merchant ID and email, I re-entered the api credentials and password,
I've also re-activated the Instant Notifications on PayPal and so far I had I did not get any new warnings.
I'll keep my fingers crossed! :)

Thanks again,

I'm still getting the PayPal notifications errors. Also, is not all of them, some notifications go through just fine and some others have a warning.

I'm out of ideas. Do those errors affect the payments in any way?
Are these notifications really necessary? Can I just turn them off from PayPal?
