No, I do not remember what previous version. Is there a way to find out? I will install again and advise on what I get.

Is there a way to find out?

No, not unless you've a backup you can look at.

A 500 error is a server error. Check your server error logs for any errors. If you don't see any hints then download CB Activity manually from own downloads page below.

www.joomlapolis.com/downloads

Next unzip the package and install CB Activity manually to CBs install new plugin page. You'll find CB Activity in the /extensions/cbplugins folder of that zip. This should show any errors that package installer is unable to catch.

If still having issues please PM backend super user login credentials and will take a look.

Thank you. I followed the installation manually and got this:

"Unknown column 'parent' in 'field list' "

Looks like you've an invalid old database column sitting in CB Activity database table. This is causing the migration code to trigger, but because of the error it doesn't clear that column. Did you migrate from an old 1.x release of CB Activity recently? Delete the "type" column if it exists within the following database tables using phpmyadmin.

_comprofiler_plugin_activity
_comprofiler_plugin_activity_comments
_comprofiler_plugin_activity_tags
