Hello,

When a user clicks on the button "create a new group" from the tab of his profile, this error message appears:

"This category must not exist"

The "uncategorized" options are disabled.

Groupjive> Settings> Groups> General

By enabling this option, the tab button works again.

Can you help me please to sort this out?

When I use the creation of a group by the itemmenu it works correctly

It's likely caused by a SEF problem, which is probably due to your new group page using an Itemid of a menu item to a GJ category. Try creating a Joomla menu item as follows.

Menu Type: Community Builder > Plugin
Plugin: CB GroupJive
Action: New Group

Once created retry and see if that solves your issue.

thank you for your support.

I had already tried this possibility by displaying a menu with this link in an active module on the profile page.

I just created a new active item in the main menu but the error message persists.

In the url it return : www.ndd.com/mon-profil ?tab=73 who is ID of group tag

The menu item doesn't have to be actively displayed. It just needs to exist. Do you have any other menu items to GJ where the Category ID parameter has been given a value? If so try unpublishing that menu item and see if issue persists.

Hello,

Thank you ! There was indeed a locked element configured on the GJ Category 1 plugin.

I deleted this obsolete item and it works :-)

Thanks you !!
