Hi there,

I have created a video list, there is the possibility to link videos from other websites - but here is the problem: I have deactivated photos, files and music (also upload and link), have only activated videos. But if I click on New Link now, I get a message that I don't have authorization.
And now comes something very interesting: if I activate the linking function under Photos, the field in the frontend appears without problems, but then you can only link images, not videos!

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for Help!

Created a video list where? What parameters did you specifically adjust and where? Next where are you trying to link a video from? For example if you create a Joomla menu item to CB Gallery, but are trying to link from your profile Gallery tab those are 2 different galleries. If you're strictly adjusting parameters globally within CB Gallery > Parameters please also be sure to specify that. Will then reproduce your setup and see if there could be a problem with create access permission check.

I have created a Joomla menu item and selected the CB Gallery plugin, I disabled photos, music and files for the parameters of this plugin.

In the profile gallery I have activated photos and deactivated videos in the parameters.

But if I click on the Joomla menu item, the video list appears and the upload / link button is also displayed, but when I want to link a YouTube video, the message that I only use jpg, jpeg, gif, png may link.

It looks like the settings of the parameters in Profiles gallery also control the parameters of the video list in the Joomla menu.

You're probably having a conflict between profile gallery and menu gallery. Did you apply a custom asset to your menu gallery? If not please do so otherwise the menu gallery will default to being profile gallery. Example of a user specific custom asset for your menu item as follows.

videolinks.[user_id],videolinks.%

This would show all video links from all users and save new ones with an asset of videolinks.USER_ID.
