Jquery loading problem after update was created by timstohr
Hi Kyle,
I have updated CB today and I am getting this:

Uncaught TypeError: s.event.addProp is not a function
at Object.s.event.fix (jquery.migrate.min.j…=563642b4e20c0468:1)
at HTMLDocument.dispatch (jquery.min.js:2)
at HTMLDocument.v.handle (jquery.min.js:2)
s.event.fix @ jquery.migrate.min.j…=563642b4e20c0468:1
dispatch @ jquery.min.js:2
v.handle @ jquery.min.js:2

All the links point towards components/comprofiler etc...

The error started appearing on all my sites (they share common PHP but different DBs).

Looks like you've CBs jQuery turned off, but you left its jQuery migrate on. Enable CBs jQuery within CB > Configuration > Integrations and turn off jQuery migrate. CB is now on latest jQuery 3.5.1.

Euh, it now autorepaired 25 minutes after I had changed it back around (jquery inactive, Jquery migrate inactive), checked that the problem still existed, had dinner and didnt touch anything at the website. No idea what happened. I am going to have a look tomorrow again...

EDIT: Just confirmed that even on my very old template rt-iridescent that switching off BOTH Jquery and jquery migrate gets rid of the problem.

Where are you seeing this exactly? If possible please PM backend super administrator login credentials with instructions to duplicate your issue and will take a look. We've tested all our products and core CB with the new jQuery and appears working fine in our tests. It's also working fine on our demo site. It's possible there's a conflict somewhere that we've yet to find.

Have reviewed your install. There's a lot going on with the JS on your site causing some conflicts. CBs jQuery is compatible with v2 and v3 so just leave CBs jQuery turned off since you've another means of loading jQuery currently.
