Ordering in table comprofiler_field_values changed on update?

Hi
I created a dropdown field populated with street types (alley, street, close, avenue etc) and when I created the field I entered them in alphabetical order. Subsequently my users (reasonably) asked me to shift the most usual ones to the top of that list. I did that manually but discover that, after a CB update the order gets lost. They are now in alpha order again. I think that it happens post CB upgrade - it happens on each of my sites and has happened several times.
Is that likely to be the cause? If so, can I prevent it?
Regards
Nick

The order absolutely should not change when updating CB. There isn't code in place to even order them alphabetically. I've tested this locally by creating a dropdown with 10 options. I then changed their options order and saved the field. Next I re-installed CB. I then checked the field and it was still in the new order, which is to be expected as _comprofiler_field_values is not altered as part of the install process.

I'm not sure what could cause your issue. Please be sure to save the field after changing the order as just changing the order alone will not save it.
