I was having difficulty changing (adding/removing) a certain access level the other day, but only in CB's user manager. For some reason the change just would not "stick" in CB's manager. I used Joomla's user manager to fix the issue. This is a fine workaround, but thought you would want to know about this issue. A few things to know about my access level naming.
  • The word "Regional" is used in several groups.
  • The word "Director" is used in several groups.
  • The two words above are combined in different ways.
  • The group I couldn't add or remove was "Regional Director", yet "Regional Director Moderator" worked fine.
  • I changed "Regional Director Moderator" to "Regional Moderator" and that made no difference.
  • The levels included in "Regional Director" and "Regional Director Moderator" were the same. Only difference is the latter were assigned to be moderators. Thinking this may have something to do with it, I modified one of them. No change.

Though I can't imagine you are using the group names in any way, I thought it was worth mentioning since, well, it did not work and the Joomla interface did.

Regards,
Bruce

Wording doesn't matter. Usergroups are assigned entirely based off the usergroupd id. CB doesn't apply any usergroup filtering on storage. Only reason I can think of for that to happen is maybe you've an auto action in CB Auto Actions that's changing usergroups?
