Hi!

When I go to check in the CB Activity comments tab, the posting time of the comments is one hour earlier.

Example: a comment actually posted at 8:05 is reported as posted at 7:05.

I specify that in the global configuration of my Joomla installation the Server Time Zone is regularly set to Rome.

What can this problem cause?

Thanks,
Vincenzo

All datetimes on display will display locally. They are stored as UTC in the database. Server time is only used if no timezone is set within your profile. Do you have a timezone set differently within your profile? You should be able to check this by editing yourself in CB > User Management.

Hi krileon.

Going to CB > User Management I did not find the timezone of my profile, but I found it in Joomla user > management and it was regularly set to Rome.

I specify that when I publish an article in Joomla, the date is correct in the backend.
Also I specify that I have synchronized Joomla users with those of CB.

I've set my server timezone to Rome and it seams to display perfectly fine. A new post immediately showing as "about a minute ago". So when you make a new post it's immediately showing something like "about an hour ago"?

Krileon, a new comment immediately showing as "less than a minute ago".
The problem arises when I go to CB > Plugin Management > CB Activity > Comments: there all comments appear as if they were posted exactly one hour ago. As if there was still the Daylight savings time ("Ora legale", in italian) instead of the Winter time ("Ora solare").

That's normal. Several backend management views do not offset depending on the management purposes. Dates and Datetimes are stored as UTC. I would not be concerned about what backend is displayed as long as frontend is outputting correctly the offsetting is working as expected.
