how to display the total number of users in userlist was created by jeroen aalders

I would like to display the total number of users in a userlist in for example a Joomla article using a statement.
Is there a statement that can do this? I know the total number number of users is displayed on the userlist itself but how can I place this elsewhere?

To display the total number of users on the site outside of a userlist you'd need to use the CB Online Module and set "Display Mode" to "Registered Users" or "User Census". Only other alternative would be CB Query Field and query for the user count then substitute the query field in wherever you like that supports substitutions.
